Most of these films are making their way around the international short film circuit. Born and raised in Singapore Brian recently moved here with plans to take Australia by storm. Simon was born in Mirfield West Yorkshire (hence the accent) emigrating to Perth WA at the age of thirteen. He began acting in amateur theatre at the age of twenty before returning to the UK to study performing arts at the University of East Anglia. Various roles followed in film, television and theatre, working with the BBC and the Discovery Channel and several fringe theatres (Two Way Mirror/ Black Dog) plus The Da Vinci Code (directed by Ron Howard with Tom Hanks and Audrey Tautou). Simon returned to Perth in 2006 to study a Masters in Film and Television at Curtin University, graduating with distinction in 2009. Earlier this year David made his professional theatrical debut with “The Enchanters”, which was performed at the Heath Ledger State Theatre Centre. He is currently working on “The Sugar Mother”, which will be performed at the Metcalfe Playhouse throughout September.
