Nicholas Pages Oliver
Coming from a strong arts background, Nick has aspired to be an actor for most of his life. He completed his study as a specialist drama student at John Curtin College of the Arts in 2008, in which time he worked with directors such as Sally Richardson, Andrew Hale, Stuart Haulsz and Dalip Sondhi. Landing lead roles in Antigone, Macbeth, Romeo and Juliet and Caucasian Chalk Circle at the college, Nick is a stand out performer with great versatility and impeccable comic timing. Since leaving school, Nick’s Original Scripted Production was featured in Performing Arts Perspectives at His Majesty’s Theatre. He has now completed FTI’s Diploma of Screen Acting course and is to appear in Upstart Theatre Company’s production of The Tempest, as Ferdinand. Nick has returned to John Curtin to run master classes for current students and his work is being used as an example for TEE Drama students around the state. Recently starring in a number of short films and completing voice-overs for the Education Department of Western Australia, Nick is always looking for a new challenge.
